No less than 200 international experts and 2,800
participants from 55 countries will attend this international event

The 13th World Human Resources Congress will take place at the Palais des Congrès in Montreal from September 27 to 29. Organized by the Ordre des conseillers en ressources humaines agréés on behalf of the Canadian Council of Human Resources Associations, this world-class event will be held for the first time in Canada. No less than 200 international experts and 2,800 participants from 55 countries will attend this major meeting of the global HR community.

“The Congress is an exceptional opportunity to learn about the latest trends and practices in the world of work, both here and on the international scene. The program addresses themes that reflect the new world of work, the impact of new technologies, as well as important concerns and issues for the future,” explains Florent Francoeur, CHRP, president and CEO of the Ordre des conseillers en ressources humaines agréés.

The Congress program, focusing on the theme HR Without Limits, includes over 100 sessions in English, French and Spanish, presented by the world’s greatest thinkers from countries as varied as France, the United Kingdom, Singapore, Switzerland, the United States, Canada and Mexico.

Distinguished speakers
Our distinguished speakers include Don Tapscott, one of the world’s leading cybergurus according to Al Gore, and Henry Mintzberg, ranked by the Wall Street Journal as the world’s 9th most influential management thinker. Also present will be Jeremy Gutsche, described as an eagle-eyed visionary by Global TV, and Tod Maffin, called one of Canada’s most influential futurologists by the The Globe and Mail.

Members of prominent organizations such as Pixar, Bombardier, Cascades, Cirque du Soleil, IBM, Adecco, L’Oréal, MolsonCoors, WestJet, Yves Rocher, Standard Life and AirFrance-KLM will also be present to share their most leading-edge practices.

Hot topics
The range of topics covered will spark extensive discussion and thought about the new world of work in organizations, moving well beyond human resources.

The impact of new technologies, change and innovation, diversity, leadership, environmental responsibility, the integration of immigrants in organizations, compensation, crisis management and health in the workplace are just some of the themes that will be addressed.
