The Ordre des CRHA et CRIA du Québec presented its

Professionnel émérite award to two of its members yesterday evening at the Défi Meilleurs Employeurs gala, which was held as part of the ORHRI conference.

This prestigious award recognizes the extraordinary expertise and achievements of members who have contributed to the growth of the profession and serve as models for all HR professionals.

This year’s winners are André Petit, CHRP and Pauline Brassard, CHRP.

A full professor in the faculty of administration at the Université de Sherbrooke, André Petit, CHRP, is known not only for having trained a number of graduating classes of HR professionals while maintaining close ties with the practice of the profession, but also for his research, publications and involvement outside of Quebec within the Administrative Sciences Association of Canada (ASAC) and the International Federation of Scholarly Associations of Management (IFSAM). Committed to his students’ success and very active in the professional community, he has inspired everyone who has known him throughout his career with the dynamic energy he has devoted to all his activities and his strong sense of professionalism and availability.

Founding president of PB Conseils RH group, Pauline Brassard, CHRP, is an acknowledged pioneer in retirement and workforce planning. A visionary with strong innovation and communication skills, she designed and developed a comprehensive and rigorous computer-assisted workforce and recruitment planning approach. This unique ground-breaking tool represents a revolution in HR management. An outstanding communicator, Pauline Brassard is actively involved in the professional development of her peers, whether in industry, through training offered by the Ordre, published articles and studies, or participation in public events as a panellist.
